The current HDS (Hitachi Data Systems) was founded in 1989 as a joint venture with EDS (Electronic Data Systems). Since 1999 it is part of the Hitachi Ltd. Corporation and today a company providing mid-range and high-end storage systems, software and services.
HDS is one of the leader in storage virtualization and offers solutions to get the IT more virtualized, automated, cloud-ready and sustainable.
